Our Organization
The Capital District Chapter of NYSBOC (New York State Building Officials Conference) was formed to promote and educate Code Enforcement Officials regarding the administration & enforcement of building and life safety codes; and to be actively involved in the revisions of existing codes and the development of new codes. The organization provides continuing education for its members and other interested individuals with courses related to the building codes and code enforcement.
Affiliations
Capital District NYSBOC cooperates and assists the New York State Building Officials Conference (NYSBOC), International Codes Council (ICC), Eastern States Building Officials Federation (ESBOF), New York Conference of Mayors (NYCOM), Association of Towns of the State of New York, New York State Assessors Association, Fireman’s Association of the State of New York (FASNY), New York State Fire Marshals & Inspectors Association, New York State Association of Fire Chiefs and the New York State Association of Fire Districts in achieving their goals and ideals to the extent the same shall not be inconsistent with the purpose and goals of this organization.
