Town of Glenville Code Enforcement Officer

Posted 02/26/2023 - The Town of Glenville is currently seeking a Code Enforcement Officer - full-time, 35 hours per week, starting salary of $51,255 with annual raises. Excellent health, dental, and vision benefits, NYS retirement, deferred compensation, generous paid leave.
This position is responsible for overseeing the enforcement of specific codes and standards such as the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Property Code through both field and office work. Work is performed under the direction of the Building Inspector or Deputy Building Inspector. Three years of experience in building construction or code enforcement and zoning activities is required, including at least two years of experience involving the review and interpretation of plans, sketches, and blueprints. Lateral transfers from other municipalities may qualify for a higher starting wage.
