Capital District NYSBOC offers the following Department of State approved in-service training for Code Enforcement Officials:

Three (3) half-day training classes

One (1) three day educational conference each October
We strive to offer courses that are both interesting and educational with live demonstrations, site visits and hands on experience.

This year's conference will cover all required course topics and minimum hours (Schedule subject to change) up to 19 hours total. Only on-line registration is available by CLICKING HERE or on the link below. If paying by credit card a link will be provided in your confirmation email to pay on-line. If coming from out of town, a link for the hotel reservations can be found below (reservations must be made by 10/05/2026 for the conference rate).
The cost for all three days for members is $420 and $465 for non-members. This includes lunch and dinner on both Tuesday & Wednesday and all conference provided materials. The cost for each individual day is $160/day. Classes begin on Tuesday at 9:00AM and on Wednesday & Thursday at 8:00AM. Early registration is available Monday evening from 6:00 - 8:00PM or each morning prior to the start of classes beginning at 8:00AM Tuesday & Wednesday & Thursday at 7:30AM.

Half-Day Training
Half-Day Trainings are usually offered in February, April & June of each year and are followed by membership meetings.
